Some standard functions are missing. Primarily calendar functions. In design, to signify “calendar”, a wall calendar with multiple day squares on it is used, and to signify “today”, a wall or day calendar with 28 or 31 on it is used. It’s unintuitive to use what is typically used as a button for viewing a calendar as a button to view the user’s today, and it’s just plain odd to decide to have no full calendar function in an app whose top function is showing users their schedules, unless I’ve managed to not press that invisible button after pressing every visible one, in which case, make it visible please. Otherwise, who on your team argued that it is easier and more logical to swipe 14 times in a row to look at your full schedule (21 times if your workplace does three week schedules) than to press one button and view your whole calendar? Do they sell ice to penguins? Charcoal to the devil? They might BE the devil, convincing a team of developers to not put a calendar in their calendar centric app. And if the truth is that the developers never thought to put one in, lie, lie to me, lie to your investors, and silently put one in. Oh, and it would be nice to have an in app option to manually clear your cache, if you’re downloading for offline mode, but the app experiences an error that causes it to keep the cache.

Perhaps one of the worst apps for documenting patient care. Full of issues, bug, dysfunction. Completely unintuitive. Functions like it was designed by 80yo cobblers who dont know a whole lot about the series of tubes we call the internet or what an efficient user interface should look like, act like. 90% of the time it’ll just tell you at the outset.. hey…I let you log in but just so you know I am either offline right now or might go offline at anytime…taking everything you’ve documented with me into the void. To save anything, you have to hit the BACK button…hit it again.. and again..and again until you are about to exit the app and then very carefully click the tab that may or may not let you save it.. its the one thats right above the tab that’ll definitely delete your draft. If you just stay on the app long enough.. documenting..happily.. the app has logged out in the background and everything you are doing is moot. You can leave.. come back.. pick up where you left off…not knowing you are typing into the ether.. the app has left you.. all you are tapping away on is but a shadow of its former self.. but no.. it wont tell you that..no sir. You only find that out when you try to hit back back back back tabs again to try to save it.. or be a brave soul and move forward and try to submit the note and whooshhh… it was never there. Now you must start over! It should be criminal apple allowing apps like these in their app store and the people designing it.. should ask for their money back from whatever school they went to.

The app is fairly easy to use however I found a few glitches. #1, I’m not able to go back more than 10 days to two weeks to see what hours I have worked or what I may have submitted and if I don’t keep my own records, I have no way of confirming if my compensation is correct. Also, when I’m typing in visit notes, I frequently have to start over because what I’ve typed disappears if I do one back space or something, I’m not sure what it is, but it just completely disappears and I have to start the note again. Little issues that I’m sure it can be cleared with time and attention.
