I was born and raised in Santa Cruz. My father worked for the City. He started us with bank accounts in our early teens. Bay Federal has never let me down. You will see them volunteering at events like Capitola Art and wine. They are local people from Santa Cruz participating in our town events. The last update has made this app not able to deposit checks. On my end since the update the app can no longer read the checks and after reviewing and taking multiple pics will not work. Please fix this issue as I still get the same style check as before and now having issues reading them. I have gone through all the steps that the customer service rep asked me to do and still same issue including deleting the app and reinstall.

I'm sure there are features that could be added to improve this app (like make a comment describing what $ transferred is for) but it's pretty great. It's so easy to use that I have only gone to the bank twice in the last year. I can deposit checks without the trip in mere minutes, and transfer $ to friends (who are also members) and family members and housemates to pay for our share of the dinner, gifts, and bills. I think this app is great.
