It has made it so easy for me to practice intermittent fasting and has really helped me to get in better shape. The new update is amazing - it has so many useful features that makes it even easier to use. The workout and meditation features are top-notch, and the Recipes feature allows me to maintain healthy diet. Overall, I highly recommend the SkipMeal app to anyone who is interested in trying intermittent fasting. It has truly been a game-changer for me!
So… I started to use this app and went to connect its data to the Apple Health app. The default unit of measure for weight is kilograms which I did not notice initially (and the field lacks a toggle switch to adjust on the fly and requires leaving that page and going to settings) so when it went over to Health, it put in an absurdly high weight because that was in pounds and it did not translate. Now, I cannot edit the number in Health because it didn’t come from Health. It came from Skip Meal and I can’t edit it in Skip Meal. I deleted the app to re-add it, and it asked about the data, I selected ‘view’ and that was it. The app was gone, and nothing was editable. Health doesn’t show Skip Meal as a data source anymore. So unless I can fix it, the health app data has a big spike in my weight and the data is now all skewed. 😠
I have been using this tracker for about a week now and I can already feel better discipline, focus, and I have even lost a few pounds. I had never done a fast before so this made it much easier for me. I’m starting I’m with the 16:8 but I’ll probably move to the 20:4 since this is becoming easier.
