Game of Empires:Warring Realms

This game is very great, unlike other games this game is very much playable without having to buy a bunch of stuff. This is also very good because of the civilization aspect, as you build and research more stuff you gain more prosperity/xp which lets you get to more historical ages. You can assign citizens to various roles and building and research doesn’t take too long to finish as other games, training soldiers is fairly fast too. If you enjoy strategy games or especially civilization games this is a great mix of those two.

It’s a great game I love the idea and the potential it has. The only problem is it feels like it takes absolutely forever to build and upgrade different things. Yes I know there are speed ups and more things to cut the time but once you get low on those you will seriously have to wait a few hours to upgrade one small building. Also the connection can be iffy to the servers your in. I don’t know how many times I’ve lost connection to the server and then have to wait to regain connection. But besides a few small problems it’s really a fun game, you just better have a lot of time on your hands if your trying to play it. Another issue is it does feel pay to win at points. It already takes ages to upgrade something but I’m currently at Early Castle Stage and it gets frustrating when you leave for 2 hours and come back to see your gate has been broken by someone 3 stages higher than you with double the troops. It takes absolutely ages to do anything but if you throw money at the game it does start to give big spending players a major advantage over players who don’t spend tons of money. At least make a server that free to play players can play with other free to play players. While all the people who spend over a 50-60 dollars in the game are on their own server. It is frustrating when you are basically just being farmed by bigger players every second your shield expires, because you don’t dish out piles of cash. I would like to leave the game for one night and not have everything I spend 8 hours of grinding for. Just to be looted and destroyed by some stage X player that attacks you with 90,000 something troops every second your shield is gone.

This is an engrossing game, I’m always active while waiting for tech upgrades as long as the game doesn’t crash or freeze up. Since the last update game will either freeze up or outright crash every 5 or so minutes. This is extremely frustrating and has often sent me to play other games. If this is not fixed soon I will have to quit since it also has started to take about 5 minutes to start the game up. Please fix. This could be a really fun game.
