Save yourself time and just use the browser. I’ve been trying to use this app for 6 months and only once has it let me log in with my credentials. It always defaults to “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” This happens in spite of my log in working on the browser just fine. It doesn’t make a difference what time of day I try to log in. It’s been an issue reliably for over 6 months. Perhaps the worst app experience I’ve ever had.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel EPE is getting a very bum rap. With the rollout of smart meters across their NM service area, the functionality of the app is vastly improved. I feel like its capabilities vastly exceed what I would expect of my electric utility.
Billing is correct! However the app usage graph adds total household energy production (which is measured by a separate ‘spy’ meter) plus the amount delivered to the household (normal meter) from EPE, but forgets to remove the amount of energy delivered to EPE. Hence the energy usage values displayed on the graph for our household are way too high. Recommendation to developper: research how NET metering works and fix the maths.
