Good local coverage of important events in our communities. Mr Sullivan, their long time photographer certainly has an eye for what would make a good photo. Always look forward to his pictures. Suggestion would be if they could bring back “police blotter” Always a popular feature. A bit of real news mixed in with the town meetings and retirement stories. Might be nice to have a couple of more interesting comix. Like “ Pearls before Swine” also maybe Dilbert has paid their penance and could return. One not thought through strip should not completely destroy a beloved comix character Thanks for a great local paper!!! ( uninterrupted subscriber since the 1950’s) Grandparents-parents- myself. Printed version has weekly fliers from local grocery stores. Always a few items that are worth making a trip for.

The first thing I do every morning is to read The Daily News on my iPad. It has a very nice look and navigation, but an increasingly annoying problem mars the experience, and this is the only way that I see to report it. Very frequently I get a pop up saying that internet access is not available and that external contents are not available. The paper is already downloaded so this is (1) not true and (2) not important enough to interfere with my reading. As a former software developer I guess that the app has detected a transient lack of connection for perhaps a micro second. In any case, if the internet really was not available (which is not the case) then it would not be important until I tried to access any external material, so tell me then. Please fix.

This app has improved enormously and now makes it quite easy to read my local newspaper. Thanks for the progress! The latest version of this app from TecNavia works fairly well for navigating my local paper and crashes only infrequently. I'd give it 4 stars, if it weren't for it's irritating issues with accessing it. I get a daily email with a link to the paper, which is great. However, when I click on the link, I get a pop-up asking if I want to open the web version or the app. There's a Then, when I choose the app, I'm asked if I need to install it, and the choices are "Ok" or "Cancel". (Apparently, cancel means "No".) These extra clicks, every day, are frustrating and there's no feedback link to report it to the paper, nor to TecNavia.
