Chyrpe: Female-Led Dating

While Chyrpe markets itself as a femdom/FLR oriented dating app (awesome premise, underserved demographic. We need a femdom dating app that works.) it kind of tanks its own premise through overzealous, seemingly puritanical censorship which effectively renders it impossible to discuss anything relating to kink on.. on.. on a self-billed kinky app? Including words such as “dominant,” “submissive,” “power exchange” and “kink” in any text you type out prevents you from sending messages or updating your profile. While this was no doubt intended to prevent femme folks from receiving thirsty messages, the result is that nobody can touch on any but the most vaguely related or thoroughly innuendo’d kinky topics, like, anywhere on the app. Wanna know if a potential match is interested in the same types of play or dynamic styles as you? Curious about whether someone’s involved in your local kink community? Wanna just.. give a halfway decent kink-inclusive description of yourself on your profile? Too bad, we’ll be having none of that foul behavior around here. The end result here is that folks drawn to Chyrpe for its kink-specific mission statement will find themselves stifled into chatting about, idk, birds or sports or whatever normie time-wasting topics you’re liable to get elsewhere by moderation which, ironically, is *leagues* more pearl-clutchin’ than any other app I’ve ever used.

For women, this app is perfect. The setup is insane and the way the men have to approach you is very specific. If you’re a smart girl you’ll understand immediately who is a serious sub and who is not. If you are looking for an FLR it’s a really great place to meet true subs. That being said there are a TON of men that think they want a FLR when really what they want is to make you mad so they can get off on your anger. Don’t fall victim. Always remember you hold the power. Now, paypigs on this app are out there. They are rare though. Ofc you can find a man willing to be turned to a paypig, but that’s work. If you are strictly looking for one I suggest you change your settings so you don’t get bombarded. I’ve been on this app for like two weeks and I literally have so many messages from real men that live close. It’s also perfect for women that travel a lot and just need a sub to do a task for them. They gifted me free chyrpe evolved, but I had already cancelled my weekly subscription because it was too much money not to be matched with someone in my region because regional matching wasn’t open yet, only global. then in a day or two when my weekly subscription ended they took away the “free” chyrpe evolved feature as well. I guess I had to continue paying the regular subscription if I wanted to enjoy this “free” gift. But its fine because I wasn’t even able to use it because the app was so buggy it wouldn’t pull up any profiles for me to match with. Oh yeah I explained my reason for backing out of paying for the regular overpriced chyrpe subscription to an actual person in a help chatroom rather than a robot which is cool. I even told this person I planned to resubscribe when my region opened for matching, and this person decided to be extremely unprofessional and passive aggressive to me in their response. The reason I’m leaving this one star review is for how that person treated me in his/her response to hearing my perfectly logical reason for backing out of the subscription AND my promise to resub and give their company money in the future. I wouldn’t have left a review like this if the bugs were the only thing I disliked about the app. I probably would have even left a 5 star review to push regional matching for myself and others. But a company that disrespects their customers like I was disrespected shouldn’t have a future in my opinion.
