I was genuinely relieved to see Charm Portal had an app—because their mobile website is a nightmare. You have to pinch, zoom, and squint just to navigate basic functions. But the app? Somehow manages to offer even less than the clunky, outdated site. This is supposed to support communication with my naturopathic doctor, yet it feels like the developers haven’t looked at a single modern medical portal in the last two decades. The interface is primitive, the functionality is stripped down, and the entire experience is a frustrating exercise in wasted time. Charm Portal isn’t just behind—it’s archaeological. If you’re hoping for streamlined access to your provider, this app will test your patience and your screen-tapping endurance.
This app is fine for most of my needs but it is maddening that I will be typing up an email to my provider in it, have to click out of it to get some pertinent info, and when I come to the app, my message is gone and I’ve lost everything I typed to that point. If the developers can fix this, I would definitely increase the number of stars in my rating.
The mobile app lets you do everything quick and easy from your phone instead of having to use the patient portal website!
