Cat Fantasy: Isekai Adventure

I didn't think I would like this game as much as I have been. I love cats so to have a whole game that's cat themed is really nice. The graphics are very well optimized and are cute while still being unique in its presentation. I like how you can be a female main character as well though even playing as a girl most of the characters will interact with you in a flirty/romantic way which i understand as it would be annoying to rewrite the encounters but I was hoping it would lean more towards me being really close friends with all the girls. The outfits are pretty risqué of course but as long as you know what you're signing up for it's not that bothersome in my opinion and the outfits are still pretty regardless so I don't mind. The burst/ultimate (however you want to call them) animations are super nice too and every rarity has a unique one. The events are well done and pretty frequent and the spotlight dash is a really generous addition that allows you to get an SSR unit for playing in the events. The only thing I think they could improve is this mobile version can sometimes get me stuck in a loading screen that requires me to quit and restart which is a little annoying but other than that it all works as intended. Again the thing that keeps me really hooked on this game is its theming and just how colorful it is plus the cats that have little swords or outfits on is adorable.

So far, love the game theme, and play. A few things are bringing it down to a 4 star rating for me. 1) lack of a settings feature on both home and login screens, you should have some settings users can play around with. As an English speaker, I can understand some Japanese but as a reader some of the subtitles don’t stay on screen long enough for some slower readers to actually read them. I’ve noticed cutscenes automatically just move to the next text without player input. I can see how some players may like that, but those that actually want to enjoy the story you’ve made, it would be nice to turn that off. 2) it’s 2024, who hasn’t played a mobile game before? Can we please have an option to skip the hand holding tutorial. You have nice mechanics for the game and can clearly make a better play than what the tutorial wants me to do. You’re using a format tons of games use. Devs need to let people figure things out a bit. Keep the tutorial text but let people tap where they want. I want to enjoy the game, these two things are a glaring issue for me in a market over saturated in gacha games. Most of which aren’t good. Stand out from your competition and do better. People will still throw money at you and will be happy to stay.

This game is for me right now is a solid 4 star for a couple reasons. 1: The gameplay is pretty good despite its turn based RPG elements being a little bit tricky to get used to with abilities can merge into powerful ones. It has somewhat sort of RNG when it’s comes to that as well. Just like other gacha games this game is also grindy which is good and I’m okay with that. When it comes to PvP it’s kinda meh for me I don’t do much of it yet until I get my character stronger. 2: The story is easy to follow. I’ve cried a bit on a particular scene(not gonna say that lol). However if you’re not a fan of reading this game might not be for you due to its abundance of dialogues. The cutscenes are well made too. Not too shabby but maybe it will get better soon? 3:Character Design is all we are here for. I really like the character partly because I’m biased for catgirls. Also if you’re a fan of mild fanservice this game might be for you. The fact that you can interact some of them is really nice. I hope there would be more skins in the game. 4:Is this F2P? Actually it is! The game often rewards you a lot whether be doing the main story or doing side missions. The gacha system is standard with its pity system so honestly just get lucky with your pulls and you’ll be fine. Unless if you’re a whale or somewhat light spender this game offers a lot of “bundles” to help you get the character you need. TLDR….. This game is underrated as of now but I would like this game to get more skins that’s about it. Thank you!
