IDOLY PRIDE : Idol Manager

Idoly Pride is a really fun and interactive game, especially for an idle game. While there is a huge emphasis on letting the game idle to build up resources, understanding the game mechanics and how to build teams for certain songs is also really important for pushing stages! Every idol has unique skills and passives, even some of the lower rarity cards see use in my runs (Corn Kotone is very useful!) Outside of gameplay, the 3D models in this game for the characters are stunning. I was surprised when I first saw this game, as it seems rather niche even among other idol fans (similar to t7s), but the game itself is such a high quality that even more popular series don’t get near… Seriously, put an idol with a reflective material dress in the Christmas Photoshoot and you’ll see how detailed the dresses can be! If you like cute idols and team-building RPGs, definitely give this game a try. The only downside is that it is a gacha game…

*Not like Project Sekai/Bang Dream—expect hands off gameplay and no rhythm based/times challenges. Gameplay is more of an idol raising game, with focus on stats and personality over competition.* The animations and voice acting are amazing and so so cute, and I love the phone calls you can have with the girls! Think Mystic Messenger style conversation without the time constraints. I don’t have much time to play games as a university student, so this is perfect for someone who can’t often watch anime anymore or play intensive games. If I had a suggestion, could we have the option for the manager to be female? The model used would still work, since Manager-san looks quite androgynous, but having a choice of pronouns would be nice ❤️

WOW what a game. If you want a game with LOTS of content this is it. Type match ups are simplistic yet the amount of characters and skills give you A LOT to work with. The amount of story for the campaign, individuals, and events is kind of crazy. Almost feels like it could be a light novel with the amount of background everyone has. Idols are super cute (All hail Rio) which is nice! The 72hr banners when u 1st start are GENEROUS. Rates seem to be normal among gachas. It does a pretty good job of explaining the mechanics (just need to unlock tutorials little by little). Biggest recommendation is focus campaign and use auto until you unlock (and do) every tutorial (it’s staggered rather than all in one lump sum). I’ll definitely be playing this for the LONG haul. Props to team for the work they putting in 💪🏽.
