Before downloading I read the reviews and there seems to be a consensus that its easy to use and helpful. People also said the calorie intake amount seems to be generous and incorrect. My advice is to go to chatgpt and put your height, weight, gender, age, and how much you would like to lose in a week. Then ask what your calorie, carbohydrate, fat, and protein intake should be and it will give you what you need. Then go back to the app and if you tap the three bars in the top right corner you can edit and change it to what chatgpt says. Overall great app and very helpful.
For my personal needs, this is by far the best calorie counter app I’ve used. It’s super simple, intuitive, and doesn’t bombard you with bloatware features or obtrusive ads (or any ads at all!) like many apps do. Not to mention it’s completely free. If you strip down a calorie counter application to its most basic purpose, this application covers that. However, when something is too good to be true it usually is. Something like this will cost money to maintain, and by the looks of it the developer is no longer interested in maintaining it. The last update was 7 months ago and through a quick search online it seems the company and application itself are not being worked on. That being said, the app in its current state is excellent. I would highly recommend it, but I wouldn’t bank on it staying free or available forever.
This app is great! I’ve been a devoted user of MyFitnessPal for years but hate how there is always so much going on, making it so much extra work to even input a basic meal. This app does everything I use MyFitnessPal for and more: Track calories, see calorie goals, and monitor my weight growth. For anyone Bulking or Cutting, a functional calorie tracker is a lifesaver, as you can easily see how many calories you are actually getting in a day. On top of this, the app has the AI feature for whenever I cant find my meal or don’t know exactly whats in it. This speeds up inputs greatly, especially when I don’t feel like scrolling through the list. Overall, amazing app, and it doesn’t even collect any data, have any ads, or ask for a premium subscription! What more can you ask for in a calorie tracker?
