Broken Sword: Reforged

Even though I didn’t play this game as a kid, it still brings back the cozy nineties feelings from my childhood! I love that they have stayed true to the original and have not updated it too modern. There were times when I felt the solution to the puzzles were not logical, but thankfully there are hints and help online. I would definitely replay it! I also love the film noirish humor of the main character. I would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful job thank you so much for bringing back the classic Broken Sword. I hope the new Broken Sword will be in this style.

Since I'm only a few hours into what will likely be a 10 hour or more game, this is not intended to be a comprehensive review. First, the excellent part of the game then a hopeful suggestion: Having played the earlier ios director's cut version of the game, I want to offer sincere and enthusiastic kudos to the Developers for what is obviously a highly competent labor of love in creating this new "reforged" version. The graphics are fantastic, the voice acting on par with the best, and the story line holds true to the original '90s classic. If you love point and click puzzle adventures, you cannot go wrong with this game (at least so far 🤞🤞). *********** I am posting this review now rather than after I finish playing with two thoughts in mind: *** 1) To encourage readers to buy it so that the Devs will hopefully be able to finish creating another later part of this saga: "Broken Sword: Parzival's Stone". AND: .....2) To request that the Devs 💥PLEASE CONSIDER upgrading this game to ENABLE A MANUAL SAVE OPTION...💥 -- this is because the autosave function does not occur regularly enough and I already have had to back track to the previous chapter several times since I do not want to play the game straight through in one sitting or by completing it a full chapter at a time. Unless I'm mistaken, this should be a very easily implemented improvement (for such obviously accomplished Developers). Thanks in advance if you do enable it🙏🏼
