I’ve played both the first Boxville and the teaser version of this one. Totally loved it. For 4 bucks I got about three days of playing a few hours at a time (no hints). If you like Machinarium or CottonGame titles you’ll love this. I will say there is a bit of walking back and forth and some needed items may not be immediately noticeable. But for the most part, this game is a winner. For those playing…Don’t give up on it, everything is solvable, but at times it can be tricky! Great work devs. Hoping for more.

I love this kind of game. But some of the things you need to do were just impossible to figure out logically. Like clicking the (spoiler) to put the (spoiler) somewhere else entirely. I spent a LOT of time randomly clicking because I had no idea what to do next or where to use something I picked up. Point and Click accuracy got a bit sloppy near the last chapter and very specific. I didn’t figure out I could pick some things up until I tried a dozen times because i was stuck. I also wish his walking speed could be faster! The games were pretty good except the one with 16 panels that you have to figure out how to press in a certain order with no apparent logic to it. Tl;DR - I wish there were better clues to allow you to figure out what to do next, the point/click should not be so precise, and I really wish there was a (free) hint button!

Boxville 2 is generally an excellent puzzle adventure and a good value! However, I found both Boxville games to be very picky about where you place your finger when trying to either select or place certain items. Other than that, my only other criticism is the lack of a hint system. It’s not always obvious what is required to solve some of the puzzles. Fortunately there are good walk-throughs available online if needed. Hope there’s a third Boxville in the future!
