Brisbane Bin and Recycling

App works fine. Frustratingly you can only select reminders for the actual bin day. I leave for work at 5am so I need to put my bins out the night before. It would be very handy to be able to set the reminders for the day before.

I used this app every Sunday afternoon to make sure I’m placing the correct bins out for Monday’s collection. Now when I open the app, I’m told to ‘check my internet connection’? I’m on the NBN and have super fast data speed and always connected but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and changed to 4g but still I get the same message ‘Please check your internet connection and try again.’ I hate having to go next door to see which bins they have put out! Could you please fix this?

I have used the App for a while and found that it has helpful information regarding which bins to put out and correct materials for the kerbside pick up. One of the earlier updates allowed me to see which bins to put out in my notifications. Now I have to open the App to find out and there doesn’t appear to be a setting which allows me to change this. Would the developers please restore the notifications to tell us what bin to put out without having to open the App each time. Two stars is purely based on the removal of this feature. Cheers.
