I have olive skin, and tan fairly easy — I searched for a healthy option to hours in the sun over a year ago and stumbled onto BBE. I use both the med to dark AND fair to medium. I usually use fair to medium on my face if I want a slight glow. If I want to look freshly tan — I use med to dark. My skin is dry (over 50) so I use the tanner (large tube) all over and on my face. However the face tanner formula is great also. I use the application mitts they sell, that’s imperative for no streaks and easy application. I apply after I shower “before” bed — I let it sink in for literally just a few minutes and then put my PJs on. It doesn’t stain or rub off on sheets or my clothing. The only thing I have noted is some of my lace underwear (panties, not bras) will tend to get yellow after a while but that’s ok I just tend to put on the older ones that have yellowed a little when I apply - not an issue. I am not concerned about wearing nice undergarments with the tanner - it really doesn’t come off on my clothes at all. Lastly — when I apply at night - in the morning I will take my regular body lotion and slather it on my hands and feet just to ensure it continues to tan without any real lines. Works perfect!!! For those that think this is too much work… Compared to spending hours in the sun and turning into a wrinkled prune, getting sun spots or skin cancer later in life, this product so far is fantastic and seems to be a much safer option! p.s. I live in Florida so I try to avoid the rays of the sun for all those reasons…Good luck!
