70mai (North America)

A while ago, I bought a 70 mai dash camera and the quality of the picture combined with the east of use has been absolutely amazing a few months ago I upgraded to a dash camera that supported front and recording as of recent the company added the ability to view the rearview camera on your phone, so backing up has been a lot easier, especially in a larger vehicle The rear view camera is a 1080 P. The front camera is 4K and the picture qualities is amazing even when it’s compressed in the app, I will be recommending the 70mai products to all my friends and family.

App can have connectivity issues at times which is annoying when you NEED to access it in a time sensitive manner. But otherwise, it’s UI is simple and easy to navigate. I would pay to upgrade to cloud storage if 70mai ever wanted to offer it. Because all my microSD cards seem to eventually get burnt out no matter what brand of dashcam or microsd I go with from the constant rewriting, I prefer to get the storage small so I’m not wasting money on high storage microSD’s that will need to be replaced in 6 months anyway. Some other dashcam companies offer cloud storage. I’d definitely like to see 70mai get into the running for that.

To get the camera set up, you need to have cell data on, location data on and set to precise, and Wi-Fi connected to the camera. However, once you get it set up to your desired settings, you don’t need to have the app connected or even installed - the camera will continue to work just fine. Obviously you don’t have real time output, but if you bought it as just a recorder for insurance risk, that’s plenty fine.
