Zarraffa’s App

Do NOT sign up. Do not use this app. The local place was not giving out cards and to sign up you need a credit card. They don’t tell you it’s essentially a charge, so you think you are signing up and will have the $7.50 on your card to use.. but they simply take your money and don’t add it to your account. Then you can’t order from the app, and if you go in to order they tell you you can’t use the credit “until next time”. So they’ve just grabbed more of your money. Also the “free drink” you get upon sign up? HA. You just paid for it.. $7.50… but you still can’t use it. Flat out stealing your money and no accountability for it. “Connect your card” they seem to tell other reviewers. Actively making sure people avoid this place and this app. You shouldn’t need to con or steal to get your money if your coffee speaks for itself.

Downloaded the app on 10 April and paid, received the confirmation email to the find that the app didn’t recognise my account. Asked for assistance upon my next visit to buy coffee and was told that I had to contact head office. Emailed head office and was told they would look into it but still no resolution days later, so I asked for a refund. Many emails back and forth. Advised they couldn’t refund and they would send me a card instead. Waited a week for the card from when they apparently posted it and then emailed head office yet again to chase up. Have now been told the mail could take 30 days??? Ummmm nooo that’s not true guys. I have been a loyal customer and have until now continued to go to my 2 fave stores, but can’t believe the lack of customer service for a paid app! Not even an offer of a free coffee for lost reward purchases during the last month. Avoid this app!

I’ve been telling Zarraffa’s for years to launch an app! It’s finally here! Love having access to my card on my phone. Only thing that would be great is to be able to order on the app, be told when the drink will be ready or advise when I’d like to pick up the drink, pay on the app and then just rock up to pick it up at the time advised. Or for people like me who always uses the Thermos, be able to say that I’ll come with the thermos so that I keep doing my part for the environment. Unless Zarraffa’s team up with Green Canteen and people can just advise that they are bringing a Green Canteen reusable cup and their order will be ready in a new Green Canteen reusable cup for faster delivery. Lots of opportunity! But well done on launching the app ☺️
