West Elm

I was excited to read that Williams-Sonoma brands offered an “AR View in Room” feature, but it appears to have been removed — I can’t find it anywhere in the Pottery Barn or West Elm apps. The current room-scan tool is a nice idea, but without true AR placement, it doesn’t add much real value. I even tried asking the in-app AI whether the AR feature still exists, and it couldn’t answer a simple yes/no question. It routed me to customer support, which then said representatives were too busy. At that point, the app feels like little more than a wrapper for the website. If the AR feature was discontinued, it would be great to have some clarity on that. And honestly, bringing back full AR placement would make the app far more useful.

We love the variety of fabric options, love the subdued palette (as well as the different style options for bed frames as well as sofas). It’s fantastic to see the bigger fabric drapes in store, and then to receive the best of options as smaller swatches to compare to the existing interiors at home. We can’t wait to make our final decision and get this amazing new bed and color coordinated pillows, etc. Fantastic service!

I don’t understand this app, what if you don’t want to create a registry? I just want to browse and shop and purchase. I saved items to my favorites as a guest, now I don’t see where my favorite lists is??? But create a registry and add to registry is clearly the focus of this app. Was going to create a account but it tells me again- to create a registry. Does west elm have a regular app?? This is annoying. I mainly shop from my phone so it’s more difficult to use the desktop version, but I guess I will have to get on my laptop in order to have a user friendly experience here. Not every shopper is part of a registry!!
