This is a great app especially for beginners who are new in the gym and not sure what to do or use for what muscle area your working on. There are how ever a few things that may need fixing, starting with the self care videos, the few I was able to watch were great and very motivating and nice to listen to, but I was only able to watch 3 videos before it stopped playing for me. It literally just shows a black screen no sound and that’s it. I even updated the app and still nothing. An other thing that I hope happens is that the work outs may need to be organized better, I don’t have an at home gym with special machines, I use a gym open to the public; the last time I completed a day it used one specific machine and then would move on to a different exercise before having me go back to that same machine again about maybe 3 or 4 times I ended up having to go back to the machine. It had me do cable seated rows, then crunches, then rope pull downs, then leg raises, then cable face pulls, then table top rows, I get the purpose because sometimes while “resting” after a specific exercise you do a different exercise so your body doesn’t fully relax too much but I can’t just lay in the middle of a aisle at the gym to complete and exercise it’s hazardous and selfish to take up space like that. Last but not least, I’m not sure of maybe I’m missing something or not but I wish there was a way to switch out exercises mid session that would be great for when I do last minute gym sessions with someone else and when they can’t do a certain machine or exercise I always want to try and accommodate while not sacrificing me working on the muscle. I’ve never tried the recipe part of the app but they seem pretty solid and great when trying to look for some healthy ideas.
I love this program and I’m so glad I’ve started. This couldn’t be more perfect. First workout had to look ahead and see if I could do the workouts and figure out if I could pause when I need so it took some getting used to but once I got it. I would prefer the trainer talking you through how to do it because then I have to read how it’s supposed to be done more time consuming but still love this program. My favorite part is that if you can’t do an exercise there is so many alternative options which is so helpful and because of that I don’t skip any of the exercises. I take a bit longer to finish but not much more and eventually I’m sure I will be able to go with the time they give you. Feel great and I’m sure I will start to see results soon. I can’t wait. I use the keto diet most days with of course some cheat days and I’m already feeling more fit. Definitely helping the weight loss and things getting tighter.
I purchased the 3 month deal because I follow Senada and I’ve always been in aw of her fitness and her exercises are more challenging than she even makes them seem. That’s a good thing. This deal seemed affordable for 3 months. However, I will say that I don’t like how the exercises are separated in the app instead of just flowing one after the other. It’s a waste of time to have to stop after each set and push the button for the number of reps and the weight if I chose to use any, then enter and wait for the timed rest period to end, then select the next set of reps or the next exercise. The app would be so much better if it were a continuously flowing follow along video because also you can’t watch the exercise form demo without watching a different pop-out for it too. It’s just too many tasks and parts to have a free flowing exercise session. And all of this from my phone or my iPad because it doesn’t seem to be accessible from my laptop. So, I have to cast the app to my tv and still be manipulating it between each exercises. It’s not convenient. It makes it difficult to stay focused and want to stay consistent, but I will try to do that so if I am able and get results then I will come back and say how well it works too despite the inconvenience.
