I prefer tracking all my stuff manually; my income and expenses, my calories, my bills. Iโve been searching all over for an app to let me track just my weight without making me pay an arm or leg for subscriptions for extra features I donโt want. I took a chance on this app despite it being a โsmallerโ app, and Iโm so glad I did. Iโve only had it for barely two months, but itโs exactly what I needed. Easy input and editing of weight, both for the current day and past dates. An easy-to-read graph of your average weight across the current week, the month, or the entire year. And thereโs an adorable wheel on the front page that slowly fills the closer you get to your goal weight, AND you get to customize the colors of the app. Plus, I donโt get bogged down with notifications 20 times a day. I almost wish there was a way to tip the devs to show my appreciation, we need more simple straightforward apps like this today.
Iโve been using the app for just over a year now. It has really helped with tracking my progress. For anyone who has ever tried to lose a significant amount of weight, you know how frustrating it can be at times. You weigh in and get excited because you lost a pound or two since your last weigh in, then you canโt seem to lose any more or even gain some back for the rest couple weigh ins. Just look back at your progress over time for encouragement to keep going. So far Iโm down just over 70lbs in just over a year. I have about 20-30lbs until I reach my goal. 20lbs would put me at my original goal but 30lbs is where I think I really need to be. Is short, this app is a great tool to help keep you motivated and remind you of your goal.
It's crazy how satisfying this app is. Took a minute to figure out initial settings (i'm glad I didn't give up), and another minute to learn to navigate easily. But wow, I love opening it every morning to record my weight. The graphs/charts are fantastic โ a quick look at the week's ups and downs, and a separate scrolling long graph through entire weight journey. There's also a running list that shows every date and every weight since starting -- and on it you can make a note on any day you want to remember something (like, "started walking a mile," etc.) You can add new target weights, or change your current one. You can choose to track to a target, or not. This app has everything I need and nothing I don't. AND ... it's so aesthetically pleasing -- kind of an Apple design sensibility. PLUS ... there are no ads! ALSO ... you don't have to provide any personal information to use it, or allow access to your data by Evil Corps. It's private. I don't know why this guy Simon, the app's creator, chose to give this gift to the world with no strings attached -- but it is greatly appreciated, man.
