Walmart: Grocery & Shopping

Dear Walmart, I rather not go public with the insane order system you have. I hope you have saved enough to justify the now weekly experience I seem to encounter every time I finish my order. Yes it is still frustrating , (trying to avoid stronger adjectives), to finish my grocery shopping, only to be advised, by your impotent computer, that...alas, all the items (and I mean all) are unfortunately out of stock. Had I not reported these glitches, at least 4 times before, perhaps I could assume you were ignorant of the problem. But this is the 5th time! Each of the previous times I was promised a call back by a responsible person. I never did get the promised calls. I guess there is no one there with that capacity. SHAME ON YOU! Addendum 2020 01 27-28- re: attempt to get a time slot. The delivery time slot saga continues. Again.... Walmart grocery order delivery flunks. After choosing my groceries, on checkout, I found that your delivery time slot options gave no day/time availability. Assuming the problem was with my IPad, I patiently signed in using my Windows laptop. Fortunately, my chosen items, were on the site, but alas, the same date/time problem arrested my ability to check out. My attempt to have help on the matter via your help office provided nada. Your friendly, but poorly informed rep. suggested a browser problem (2 different browsers on 2 different platforms computers) easily discarded that possibility. The rep. ( I choose not to use names - they were not the cause of the problem) suggested you clearance face ask offer as a reason for the missing time slot. Really?.... a 2 dollar item filled the time slots availability for 3 weeks? He then admitted that there might be a glitch in the computer.....”wait till past midnight. The computer refreshes itself at that time... and order should go through “. Any problems... call us back. Of course, the computer glitch was still there. Further more...your office was then, closed for the day. The next day, another nice rep with no answers but a suggestion I go to Walmart and get my items there. A non starter for me. What really increased my frustration.... The Supervisor. She not only denied a problem existed on Walmart’s end. Could I do a screen capture and email it? The 2 different platforms did not impress her! Now I had to prove the problem existed. She insisted the site was working fine on her end. Really? ..... it must take a strong lack of honesty.... to be promoted to that position! Walmart needs a good monitoring system and a strong “integrity refresh” for these employees. Fortunately..... This forced me to find a reliable alternative. I did. It puts your service to shame. Delivery in 2 hours same day. Immediate communication of out of stock items and replacement options offered tout suite! By the way, in awaiting for the after midnight insult. I checked the BBB score with recent and past nightmares some of your other former clients. Congratulation on your “F” score! In disgust, Charles.Mario

Most non perishable items aren’t even stocked by Walmart and take weeks to arrive. Hard to find actual Walmart products hidden in the hundreds of pages of 3rd party stocked items that are comparable to cheap overseas vendors like AliExpress or Wish but at regular retail prices. Stop trying to be amazon and don’t host these 3rd parties selling knockoff products.
