Don’t let the game cover art fool you—this is actually a great, fun, funny, game! If you like Castlevania games then you’ll love all the Easter eggs (and literal eggs) in the game. At this point I’ve probably played over 40 hours, and I still haven’t unlocked everything. PART of the reason for that is that the game is very unforgiving if you need to stop part way through. If you pause the game and switch apps or just put your phone down for a while, when you pick it back up your run is over, anything you unlocked during it doesn’t count, and you have to start over. This is very frustrating if you can only play for 10-15 minutes at a time; if you are interrupted you’re constantly on edge about keeping the game “awake” so you don’t lose progress. Most other games don’t work this way, I’m not sure why this one does. Lastly, I thought Arcade versions of games come with all the DLC, no in-app purchases, etc., but this game has a couple of DLC that are not included, and because it’s Arcade there’s no way to buy those DLC (I’d gladly pay for them at this point). So now my options are, start over from scratch on the non-Arcade version, or just don’t play the DLC. Disappointing either way.
Every time I beat Eudonium M it seems that I beat it. But then it plays the credits for the game and if I back out of them. Well, it goes to a loading screen that never ends. I always have to cancel out the game to get out of it. I’m not sure what’s going on? Did I beat the level? It seems like a bug that it just gets stuck in a loop of loading. Would you please fix this? I would be very grateful if you would please, thank you. I’m really enjoying playing this awesome game with the Apple Arcade “+” version. It’s fun! I do hope please that we will get the rest is the DLC that was released on the regular version of the game. One of them was “Operation Guns.” I really want to try that one out, sounds crazy. And there was one other, uhh, “Emergency Meeting” maybe it was? I cannot remember exactly. So far we have two of the four DLCs that have been released for this rad game. I just hope, as I said, that we can please get the remaining two released as well one day. —————————————————————————————— Thank you very much to the developer for all of your time and hard work put into the original game and this Apple Arcade, Plus version, as well. I’m very grateful for that dedication and for creating such a unique and throughly enjoyable video game in my opinion. Thanks too if you’ll consider releasing the rest of the DLC please 😬👍🏻. God bless. —————————————————————————————— iPhone 13 Pro Max/ iOS 17.6.1
First of all I know it is missing some of the DLC, but I can guarantee you it is because of licensing. Being on Apple Arcade would mean that Apple would have to pay the fee to the creators of the game, secure an agreement with Konami and Innersloth, then pay them as well. Just securing an agreement would be difficult in itself but subscription games tend to pay per download so I imagine it wouldn’t be worth it for Apple.—- — I never played this game until now, after playing it on here I ended up buying it on Steam and I’m gonna buy it on PlayStation. It’s just that addictive. The perfect word is “simple”, though, at the same time it is really difficult to lock down. It falls into that cliché of ‘easy to play hard to master’. I’m blown away that I could sit down to check it out and look up just to realize six hours has gone by. I heard this game was great but really didn’t think much of it. I doubt I would’ve ever paid for this outright on steam without having experienced it, but I knew I needed to have it on multiple platforms! Believe me you don’t, but download it and you will see. If you’re paying for Apple Arcade then this is an absolute must.
