Train King Tycoon: Rail Empire

Game is fun, but too many ads in the worst places. Just creating planks and collect them you are sent into an ad. I get having ads to something extra, but just to do a natural game function is ridiculous. It is also worse that the ads take you hostage for up to 5 minutes. Also, there is no way to turn off the ads. If I like the game enough, I will pay to remove them. No functionality for that either. Another fun game ruined by ads. Think I will be deleting this one soon.

I have seen very similar games on the app store, but this is the first one I’ve played that fully leans into the model railway element of the game concept. It’s so refreshing to see people who are doing something new with a gameplay style. I greatly appreciate that they use locomotives that are entirely absent in Railroad Empire and Trainstation 2. I love the fact that they start us out with the Stourbridge Lion, which was the very first full-size locomotive to operate in the US. The devs truly did their research on the history of US railroads.

Ask you to play an ad for a reward and then the ad never ends like literally will run forever and there’s no way to close it and you still don’t get the reward. This was enough for me to delete.
