The Nudge has honestly been such a refreshing way to make plans. Instead of endlessly scrolling on social media or feeling overwhelmed searching for “things to do,” I can just open the app and find ideas that truly fit my mood, my budget, and my city. It feels less like an app and more like that friend who always knows exactly what to suggest. What I love most is how thoughtfully curated everything feels. The ideas go beyond the usual touristy options they’re intentional, real-life experiences that make it so much easier to say “yes” to getting out and doing something fun instead of staying in. I also really appreciate the prompts and questions, they make it effortless to find the right vibe, whether I’m in the mood for a budget-friendly outing, something active, or a cozy coffee moment. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The app can be a little glitchy at times, and it’s not always easy to go back and find something I came across earlier. I’d love a more seamless way to save or revisit past “nudges” without having to scroll so much, along with a smoother overall experience. Some of the newer, TikTok-style layout changes also make it a bit harder to quickly browse multiple ideas. Overall, The Nudge is such a helpful tool especially if you’re busy, a little indecisive, new to a city, or just looking to break out of your routine. It really takes the stress out of planning and has helped me say “yes” to more experiences, which is what it’s all about. With a few small improvements, it could easily become a go-to app for making the most of your time and your city.
I first started using The Nudge when I lived in Los Angeles, and it was my go-to for finding fantastic events and fun things to do. It was an absolute lifesaver for cutting through the noise in a huge city. Now, after recently moving to Miami, The Nudge has become even more invaluable. Moving to a new city means starting from scratch to find your favorite spots, and The Nudge has been the perfect "local friend" to help me learn the area. The suggestions are clearly tailored to your interests. I love how the plans are thoughtfully curated; they don't just list generic tourist traps, but genuine, cool things locals are actually doing. It feels personalized, and that is a huge time-saver when you are busy. Everything is presented beautifully and logically. The plans are organized and easy to save, browse, and execute. Whether I need a unique date night idea or a low-key weekend activity, it is all laid out clearly. The transition from knowing a city well (LA) to being completely new (Miami) is tough, but The Nudge has made finding my footing fun and exciting. It helps me discover hidden gems and must-try experiences that I wouldn't have found through a generic web search. If you’re moving to a new city, or even just stuck in a rut in your current one, The Nudge is the best way to rediscover your surroundings and actually make exciting plans. Highly recommend!
I love this app and this community. I’ve honestly never had to sit there and say “Hmmm, I don’t know,” whenever someone asks what to do and that’s because of this app! There are sooooo many options, it’s great! The AI portion is great but don’t make that the main focus of the app. I love the personable feel of the curators. I deeply dislike the new TikTok-esque feel where you have to scroll through. I liked the list view better. It was much easier to find plans that way. Now, if I’m looking for something and I don’t remember any specifics of it (where I can’t really search for it) I have to scroll, and scroll, and scroll for a while to find that specific Nudge. Sometimes I find it sometimes I don’t. And then more often than not, the app will crash and I have to start over bc the app picks up at the most recent Nudge that’s being promoted. I like the map!! Don’t get rid of that! Same with the search option! Also, if you’re gonna push the AI, workshop it because I saw someone asked for a “fun thing to do with their teens” and the NudgeAI suggested a whiskey cocktail class. Otherwise, I love this app!!
