Choosing Tebra as my EHR has truly the worst decision I’ve made as a business owner. Billing isn’t compatible with Mac. The customer service is atrocious. They changed my name on google business without permission and I had to find it and fix it myself. I submitted a complaint about it in July and never heard back. I submitted another complaint about it 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything from them. The whole program looks like it was built in 1992 and incredibly cumbersome. The AI hallucinates. It takes an excessive amount of clicks to do anything. The calendar doesn’t sync with Google Calendar. It is not intuitive at all and incredibly rigid in which there is little personalization for preferences. It is well below the industry standard. I could go on… Spare yourself the headache and go with dr chrono or elation health.
Since transitioning from karaoke to Tera, myself and other providers have had nothing but problems with both their smart phone app and desktop platforms. Unfortunately I am tied in through my billing company or else I would have dropped the platform sometime ago. It has gotten to the point where I have considered changing billing companies or even going back to paper notes or doing my own billing because fixing their mistakes is time consuming. Unless something significantly changes in the near future, I would highly recommend looking into a different EHR if it is an option.
I currently own an iPhone 8 Plus. While it's an older model, I was informed that the app does not fully support this version, even with the iOS 16 platform. I've encountered frequent issues where I have to reload the app or restart my phone just to get it to work, creating a frustrating cycle. My notes and storage costs me nearly $700 per month, yet I can't log in with my iPhone 8. I've been advised that I may need a newer iPhone to access the app effectively. If I had the chance to start over, I would choose not to use Tebra. I would prefer to explore options that incorporate AI for note creation, even if they come at a higher price. I find it hard to understand how the tech management team can maintain their positions when this level of support is lacking. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but it seems to be the only way companies will be motivated to improve and deliver the basic services we expect.
