Sugar - chat beyond the bubble

I downloaded this app when it was called ID, and I liked it WAY better before. First of all the new name and logo are ugly. The chat things are weird because that’s really not why I got the app, I can just text my friends on iMessage. But the biggest problem I have is the stickers. Before you could search for a sticker and so many options would come up even if you asked for the most random thing. Now it won’t even pull anything up for the simplest things. I typed in things like “vintage car”, “wildflower”, “Ireland”, and “Apple cider” and no results. Why this change 😭 that feature was the best part of the app because it made it SO EASY to find exactly what I want and not have to spend a million years looking on the web for the picture and cutting it out perfectly to make a sticker. Please whatever you’ve done, put it back 😩

This is what chat should be like it! The amount of creativity and customization is unmatched. The ability to draw, place stickers anywhere, customize texts enables a whole new form of expression in chats. I can’t wait to see more people and friends use this as it grows. I think it has massive potential.

so i love this app. it’s so fun to just build it up. there are some major glaring issues however. First - after deleting it to try and fix a bug it won’t let me log in after redownloading it. maybe i wasn’t supposed to delete it in the first place idk. it’s a bummer that i can no longer access it however :/ Second - the actual bug that i deleted the app for was pretty awful. i love the different levels you can have for your stuff and how you can hide some stuff halfway under others. the problem is that my big central photo keeps getting covered by other items that won’t stay in their level. it’s like it’s resetting the progress i make everytime i change it. i figured this was just a me thing and closed the app, reset my phone, ect. nothing will fix it. there are other minor bugs but that’s to be expected with a new app. i hope this app becomes more concrete as i love using it. i also hope that there’s a fix for my bug soon so that i can get back to it. i wish the devs all the luck in the world.
