Stepping Forward LA

This is a very incredible app with many people that genuinely care about you and want you to do better. This app has so many different features you are able to use for yourself all for FREE!! Which is very hard to find. You are able to use a part of the app to find jobs or even apartments as well that are for low income and you can even pick a specific area to look and it provides you with all the information you need to apply. The app also has a feature with that is called the learning series where you are able to learn about anything that can benefit you as a foster youth who ages out of the system. Even cooking, finding jobs, helping write resumes, and even personal development as well. With so much more in the app. There is to much to discuss but I absolutely love the app!

Stepping Forward LA is such an amazing organization who cares about our community! Their work is truly a blessing, you can find such a broad variety of resources on this APP. The variety is inclusive, from car, housing, education, employment, health, food & groceries, any service you can think of us on this APP! Please download it, there are no regrets when it comes to downloading. Stepping forward LA’s team makes sure to provide enough services on a regular basis, posting up to date events.

As an intern with Stepping Forward LA and a former foster youth myself, I can’t express enough how impactful this app is. The abundance and variety of resources—especially in the personal development section—are incredibly helpful and well-organized. During my internship, I was able to explore topics more deeply and even create presentations to support other users. This app is a game-changer. I honestly wish I had access to something like this when I was transitioning from high school into college and adulthood. It’s empowering, practical, and made specifically with the needs of foster youth in mind. Whether you're currently in care, transitioning out, or supporting someone who is, I highly recommend this app - it was made by and for former foster youth aging out of the system, how incredible is that!
