Spilled!

The game has very sweet visuals and relaxing music. It was also pretty satisfying to see the sea life return as you clean up an area. With that being said, I don’t think I can give this much beyond 3 stars. It felt more like a tech demo than a full-fledged game. The story is pretty bare-bones and the gameplay mechanics don’t evolve almost at all from the beginning, at least in not in any exciting capacity. I also share other’s sentiment about the controls. You get used to them enough, but it felt like a joystick would’ve been more than fine for what the ship can do. Additionally, grabbing the litter felt tedious, as you usually had to do 3-4 cycles for each group since even a small turn can leave a chunk behind. I wish they had gotten more creative with the game mechanics. A little bestiary for sea life would’ve likely also been an excellent addition to help promote environmentalism and a love of sea life.

I loved this little game, the art style blew me away. I was fully expecting just 2d opaque water that would change from black to blue, but you had a fully animated sea floor and aquatic life, with a dirty-to-clean water transition so smooth I didn’t even notice until I finished clearing the are! You are a great artist and I think this graphic style could be used in so many fun ways! And the tug boat was also super cool, and I think this is really unique. You did a great job!

Finished it in about 30 min, the graphics are adorable the music is soothing. Wasnt expecting a “boss” until I read the achievements lol. Got them all too. It was an overall sweet and peaceful experience. I haven’t tried the lvl selection mentioned in the app description but I’ll definitely come back and play when I feel I need to relax a bit. The controls took until the second to third area to get used to but still had a mini struggle the rest of the way, call it user error haha. I’d say it’s pretty worth paying/playing. I speed ran the game once I got the controls down so I didn’t fully take in the worlds possible lore. I can see the game taking 1-2 hrs to play if you take it slow and take in the surroundings, So I’ll def keep playing it. It’s a great game honestly, I hope to see more from you Lente, I hope living life on a boat is awesome 💕🥹

The game is very relaxing, I love relaxing games, but the controls are kinda funny on mobile. To turn left you need to turn right but to turn right you need to turn left idk it’s confusing you’ll see when you play.
