Riftbusters: Action RPG

Great little phone game. I’ll loosely call it an ARPG/dungeon crawl. The microtransactions aren’t invasive and it looks like you can earn what is being sold through normal play. Other than your weapons and gadgets, gear you wear isn’t reflected on your character. You can purchase cosmetics with in-game currency, but most cannot be directly bought - they must be earned through normal play. Those that can be purchased, look to be available through normal play also. The gameplay loop is simple: fight through a 1-2 minute “dungeon”. Fulfill simple goals - get to X or kill X. Earn gear and currency. Upgrade your current gear. (You never feel strapped for cash.) Claim achievements (they’re constant). Do “event” missions, which can be a bit more challenging than the normal ones. There’s also a hard mode. I like the game enough and I appreciate the reasonableness with their microtransactions, that I’ll likely buy $5-$10 worth of stuff to support them.

Been playing the game for a few months now, been really fun, I’m lvl 44 at the moment so one more level and I can do the last raid fight! Quite a few different weapons, grenades, and gadgets out there too. Can customize your character a little bit, would like to see a few more options for hair style, and colors, even colors for the armor you put on would be amazing! There is Co-op but you can’t really join up with your friends, at least if you can I don’t know how. There is a fire team you can join with other players, never have yet. This is a game I hop on and off with which is nice for me, always moving. Positive +killing hordes! +weapons! +free roam +daily missions often +raid bosses! (Don’t forget to dodge attacks! They hurt!!!) +auto revive after about 20 secs, don’t have to get a friendly to do it. +can pick up and put down quickly +no ads! +merge system for weapons/armors Negatives -could use more customization for characters -wish there was more super abilities besides the sword, like a Gatling gun “NEED MORE DAKKA” -Bots be dumb! Overall really fun game and keeps coming out with updates to make it better!

The game is awesome and in new development, the way I see it, it’s an unfinished game but what we do have is super solid and fun, they are slowly rolling out content, I believe this game is going to grow into a huge success as long as they stay on the path their on. Some guild stuff would be cool or even PvP, but for now what they’ve been introducing is good, the game runs smooth, for what we have it’s a 4 star game, but I do believe it’s going to become much more.
