I downloaded this thinking it would be another fun little minimalist idle game that’s fun for a week until you either complete it or your progress reaches a grinding halt, but I was so wrong. There’s so many different layers this game, and there’s always something new to unlock before things get tedious. I also love the automation system! It looks confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you have so much freedom in exactly how you want to run it. It’s refreshing since most games just give you the upgrades and you don’t ever think about it again. There’s even an option to make specialized scripts! I’ve never seen a game that lets you do that. Overall, you can tell the developers put a lot of care into making this game, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Ok, so I recently got to 10 mil EP and have been playing for 3 months. This is the best idle game I have played, which says a lot since I play a lot of idle games. Many Good Parts of the game: firstly, it’s difficulty is just right, not too hard and not too easy, which keeps a player hooked. Second, the use of Time Flux is amazing, which lets you progress while offline very fast, which many other games don’t do. Third, the “reset and progress” feature is very nice, from Ascension to Prestige to Promotion to infinity to eternity to unity and even more! That’s how much the devs have put into the game, absolutely amazing. Fourth, the balancing is great, making it so that you can steadily progress. I could see that the devs spent a lot of time coding and play-testing the game. Some troubles I got into playing the game: first, the secrets are so hard to achieve, maybe consider giving 2 hints? For example: seek out the hidden objects… I don’t know what on eternity that means. Secondly, you should make a setting option that allows you to customize the positions of buttons, for example on my mobile when I’m in landscape the slowdown button appears on the bottom left, and this makes it weird. Consider this for future updates. Also the infinity upgrades: perhaps consider add more after the stars that boost generators, and I still can’t find the right path to reach stars darn. In conclusion, this is a great game and I recommend everyone to play it. Forgive my poor essay writing skills.
I’m always searching for a good idle game. I’ve tried so many of them at this point. Most of them have the same issues in my opinion or come to the same conclusion that loses my interest. A lot of them are either way too fast or so complicated that I lose interest too fast. They either give you it all too quick and you immediately can see the whole future and lose interest or they show you everything but it’s so incredibly complex that you don’t even wanna get started. Revolution idle is the first one I found that’s honestly different, it starts you off extremely simple and slow, but with something that feels addictive and enjoyable. It then progresses you very slowly while keeping your interest the whole time and making you excited to get to the next step. It does a good job of not revealing what you’re about to reach and what it’s gonna mean for you and overtime you start to understand the mechanics better and get down a process yet even when you start to understand the process and how to keep going and really what your plan is gonna be you still don’t know what’s next to come so it’s very exciting and honestly perfect in that way. My only complaint about the game is that the instructions and teaching you what things mean are not very clear at all, they need a complete rework of explaining how things work and dumbing it down. I’m not an idiot, but I can admit that the explanations they give for the math are just too simple and do not make it clear. Overall, I still love it and despite having to slowly learn to understand how things work rather than being able to understand them through reading, it’s extremely worth playing and I’ve been playing for a good week or two and I’m excited to keep going.
