Ive been trying for 4 months to get a parking permit. The first time it never showed up in the mail so i reached put and they said i had to upload my insurance and registration. I upload all them and i get denied. They said because its my car but the account is under my husbands name i need to upload the leasing agreement to prove that im a lease holder. I do that and i get denied again. This time im confused cause ive uploaded everything they asked. I talk to the chat agent again and they said i need to upload my insurance even though i already did and i tell them that and they said they can find my name and i have to reach out to my apartment complex. I ask if i change the accounts name to reflect my information if i will get approved they said i need to talk to the apartment complex and end the chat. I update the information anyway to show my name on the account and try talking to an agent again and they keep immediately ending the chat or saying no one is available which is crazy as they advertise 24/7 help so i email them and again they tell me i need to upload insurance and i tell them i did and if i needed to highlight my name on all the documents cause they aren’t looking at them and at this point ive paid for two parking permits i haven’t received which is about 50 dollars. i finally get approved. It is ridiculous how much it takes to get a parking permit that is required to have. And the chat agents being unprofessional and refusing to help me is also why this app is unreliable.
This app and program is a scam on a whole new level, first the housing association/ apartment complex pays to use the software and have it’s parking lot enforced, next the renter normally pays the landlord for parking spots, then they charge the renter to apply for new permits every year/ for every temporary permit/ if they mess up the permit/ if you change your vehicle or just because they want to. It’s not cheap either 25$ per permit issued. They want to have your vehicle registration for the permit, you upload the registration ( which I feel they don’t even need) and they deny it because they don’t want to read. They spam your email with messages to renew your permits if they are about to expire but you have to go the managers of the app to allow you access to even renew them. This app/ program is trash and I will never rent from a company using this system again. They apply fees left and right for whatever they feel like and if you don’t pay their demands they tow your car, I only wish for the owner of this app and the employees who run it to have their own vehicles towed and then to go bankrupt. If the review system would allow me to use profanity and be more descriptive of my anger I truly would.
The app itself sometimes glitches and I have to shut it down or download it again. There was an instance where another guest car we've had in the past was somehow now registered under my roommates name as her car and we were unsure how that occurred. We've also been locked out of the app somehow and had to create a whole new account to access it again. I've also had my fair share of very nonchalant or unresponsive customer service reps. However that changed when I spoke to a customer service rep via chat called Hazzel. She was so sweet! She was very responsive and helped me almost immediately. I'm used to getting the "contact your property manager" and my property manager telling me to contact reliant run around so when I chatted my hopes weren't too high but she quickly turned that around. She was so helpful and nice. I hope I encounter her more often!
