Nurturey PinkBook: Mum & baby

I like that I can keep track of things like immunisations and teeth etc. and the vitamin bundles are great. However I keep having to log in; even on the same day it would ask me to log in several times. I do not understand why it keeps logging me off. I have also had issues in the past when rcieding weight and height measurements. It kept deleting entries and then entries reappearing meaning I had duplicates. It also has vaccines as the combo as in 6-in-1 but also has the individual vaccines that are part of the 6-in-1. This means that if you select the combined one, it shows it as if you have vaccinations that you haven’t done. If it worked better I probably would be using it more than just on and off.

What annoys me the most about this app is the kick counter. When you start recording the timer is set to 2 hours and every time you fee the baby press +. That would be fine if the counter didn’t stop every time you use your phone for anything else. You want to count the kicks and look at Facebook, read email, or call a friend ? No! Cause the app will stop working every time and you will have to start the counter again. This app expects you to do nothing on your phone for 2 hours and only have this app turned on to track the baby movements. And that is a huge fail from any developer.

Nurturey ought to be the best app with exquisite user experience and range of features to stay on top of children’s health, including pregnancy. I tried many apps during our pregnancy but eventually settled for Nurturey, which seems to be the only app that offers all the required features required from pregnancy to when my little girl was born. Thoroughly recommend to all parents.
