Just use trainerize. This app has a lot of potential however, the lack of app support makes it even more frustrating especially when you start taking on clients as a beginner trainer. I definitely don’t want the added stress of a faulty app nor the lack of communication from the tech Support. I absolutely love that They added in the circuits, the super sets like some of the other reviews were asking for. However, clients are unable to adjust the weight for better tracking. I have a client in Texas, who is unable to see the workouts that I put in for him on the correct days. I deleted his profile so that I could put everything back in and now I am no longer able to chat I’m guessing that may be a sync delay w their server. I’ve reached out to tech-support three times and I’ve not received anything back. Either way if I were you, I would just go ahead and download trainerize and use that until NASM works out the kinks.
Why after years of this app existing and so many NASM trainers in need of a good training app does this app STILL STINK?! I'm glad I can now add my own videos but still missing very basic no-brainer features like separating resistance exercises into circuits. Wouldn't this be so easy to fix by adding a category to the program format like Resistance circuit 1, 2, 3 etc?? And if you don't use multiples just add your exercises to circuit 1 only? I have to note the circuit groupings in the notes section which is only visible when clicking on an exercise. I had my client sent me a screen record of what they could see and I was surprised that the program looks very fancy on the client's side but the trainer interface is very frustrating and low quality! I scheduled a program for a client that starts next week and I can't even see it to return to edit it or anything because my calendar won't show me anything past this week!!! HOW/WHY are people paying for this?!? PLEASEEEE fix this - I refuse to add more clients to this app and start a subscription until it totally makes sense. Someone just do it so we can all be happy trainers with a great NASM app! I am begging you! 🙏🏼
I like that the app has videos and you can upload results of OHS tests to get pre-made corrective exercises. I love that you can add your own exercises and design workouts or programs, but sometimes it fails to allow me to upload videos for those custom exercises. Also, I like to incorporate supersets and circuits in my workouts, but the app doesn’t have a preset option for that. Instead, if I want to create a superset, I have to log 2 consecutive exercises but only add a rest period for the 2nd one, and then repeat that process for however many supersets I want the client to do. I’ve used other apps like Fitbod that have a superset option. That would be a game changer on this app. It’s cool that you can do invoices and stuff through the app too. I really hope to see some improvements. The app has great potential for NASM trainers.
