This app is is just a waste of space on my phone. It has actually hurt my health more than anything. Some people may benefit from tracking every step they take, but we’re not all the same. This app makes fitness a chore and has robbed me of sleep and of happiness. Sadly, it has had a negative impact on my relationships and a terrible effect on my outlook on life. This is very damaging to my health and makes my future seem bleak. I’ve read about many people who have lived to be over 100 or close to 100, and I’ve NEVER heard any of them say they tracked their steps and activities or kept a strict diet. In fact, most of them appear to have taken life in stride rather than getting obsessed over a rigid lifestyle controlled by anything like an app. I want my life back, the life where I was in control and was able to feel joy. I will be so grateful when this app is out of my life for good. Shame on the narrow minded company that created this app because they obviously don’t have compassion for all people.
We have to use this app for work to earn points toward a discount on our insurance. While it’s great at tracking everything, it has failed to give me ANY points, including the points for downloading the app. I have contacted support for this app twice and both times I just get an automatic reply that it will take up to 48 hours for a reply. After 96 hours there has still been no reply. (96 business hours!) This is a huge discount on insurance that I won’t get if they can’t get their act together! It’s happening to other employees as well. It’s frustrating!!!
This app has all sorts of ways to track fitness. It can hook up to smart devices, take manual input, hook up to other fitness apps, the works. Unfortunately it does none of these well. Even entering basic workouts is prohibitively difficult. This app lacks proper input functionality. For example, I use an iPhone X, and while trying to input the amount of calories burned during an exercise, the app is unable read basic integer input (type in 450 get 4...). Pretty poor design.
