MN Lottery

There’s so many bugs in this app I don’t even know where to begin. Right now the camera doesn’t work even after giving permission. My mom got locked out of scanning tickets for no known reason at all. I got locked out because they didn’t recognize my (correct) password so I had to make another account. Then they didn’t recognize that password either so I had to change it before getting locked out again. Now I can’t even scan anything. Would be a great app if it worked. Also they should give notifications on second chance entries, whether you won or not. I never hear anything so I don’t know if I ever won and wasn’t told. I’d also like to throw away cards that expired. Fix your app. Seems like someone in government let their kid design the app, and not someone actually qualified for the job.

Not much of a Lottery app. I sure wish the developer would add a sound when you scan a ticket. Perhaps a beep to show the ticket scan was successful and if it’s a winner, maybe a woo hoo. Nothing worse than scanning a ticket that you think you lost on only to find it’s a winner and being told how much you won without a sound. If a winning sound was in the app, we could at least be surprised with what we won or what we missed. Minnesota take note this app is not as good as other states.

This is the most useless of any state lottery app that I’ve used. It’s actually embarrassing that Minnesota thinks this is worth promoting. You can look up lottery numbers to see if you’ve won, but it won’t tell you how much you’ve won. For a lottery app to not include that kind of basic essential information is unforgivable. Edit: I read the developer’s response. You must create an account with the app in order to scan any tickets. Why? We are inundated with data breach notifications from sites all of the time. Why do I have to trust you with my personal data just to check a ticket? Why won’t your app tell me how much the prize is for matching 3 lotto numbers? Your web site does. I maintain that this is a useless app in comparison to what other states are publishing. You can defend your app all you want but it’s still sub par.
