Many interface annoyances. Date time pickers in sleep tracker are cumbersome to use. They should auto select time based on your previous selections so you don’t have to scroll through a huge list of date/times. Sleep tracking graphs are not very interactive. Hard to select points in the graph to read the details. Overall layout of app is not super intuitive, especially tracking which toolkits I’ve done, which are new.
Maybe it’s the fact that you never speak to an actual therapist, or if you do chat with one it takes up to 2 business days for any type of response. I don’t find this helpful at all especially if asking any questions or talking to your therapist. Content seems pretty good, although repetitive, and easy to find online. Also, the check ins are very redundant especially in the first weeks of the program. My scales won’t change if I haven’t learned a lot yet. Accountability and motivation can get lost very quickly. App is very buggy and annoying to use. I lost my saved information in one worksheet, didn’t submit properly. Also every single time I log in I have to input my password which is not convenient, and my password manager doesn’t work properly with it.
MindBeacon itself is great, very helpful. The app itself though is next to pointless to try and use. Almost every time I log in it won’t allow me to see new messages, it’ll glitch out and not save my input on worksheets, and the whole app itself glitches out and is blank half the time. I’ve just given up on the app and am using it on my laptop’s browser.
