I absolutely adore this game, been playing nonstop since I got it. Even went as far as to reset all my progress, redoing all the cases weeks after I found it. And it's still fun. However, I spent $5 on the game thinking that it would apply to all future cases as it was titled "Entire Main Game" or something similar, though now I'm being asked for another $4 just to have access to a few other 'Christmas' themed ones I believe? I get it somewhat because it's a different theme, sure and took a lot of time and effort for all that were involved. But is this now gonna turn into a Sims situation where we have to keep buying new and exciting expansion packs for more cases? I don't mean to come across as inconsiderate, I get that this whole game needs support and the effort and creativity is beyond, but I’m just genuinely curious. Why not then make the whole entire game a larger amount than $5 and why do the expansion packs?
What a pleasure it was to play this game! Mobile gaming has become a frustrating wasteland of endless ads and pay to play slot machines. This was a refreshing game that was well worth the 4.95(?) I paid for it. I really appreciate that you could try the game for free and purchasing the full game was a reasonable price. There were no ads and no additional costs. The game itself is very well thought out with a ton of detail drawn into the map. There is a nice variety of cases and difficulties making it easy to play casually or more in depth. The game is smooth and easy to play on a small phone but would be more enjoyable on a tablet. Overall it was just a pleasant gaming experience. The game was exactly as advertised and Im glad I bought it. I hope there’s a sequel or more cases added soon. Thank you!
the game is fun, cute, and really creative. i’m impressed by the concept and the huge illustration used throughout it. i got frustrated by the vagueness of some of the questions and hints. i don’t want to be given the answers, but some questions weren’t specific on what i should be looking for, and some of the hints were the type of general advice that belong in an FAQ page. one example of a vague question/prompt was “Compare what you have found with something else!” it’s too open-ended and led to me tapping all over the massive picture because none of the similar items i found during the case aren’t the exact thing that the game wanted me to find, even though they all matched the answer. an example of an unhelpful hint was “Look closely at the photo, paying attention to every detail in the background. Then search for the exact spot in the city.” that’s what i was already doing, and that’s what the prompt already told me to do. i expected a hint that would point me to an area of the city to narrow the search. it became less fun the longer i spent zooming in and out, squinting until i got a headache and had to stop playing.
