While this app is an excellent client, especially for BLE and USB connected devices (not to mention its excellent integrated management features!), the WIFI companion node support is problematic. This is the only reason I’m docking one star, as WIFI node support seems like an afterthought. Being instantly disconnected from a WIFI node when the Meshcore app is removed from the users foreground/focus is pretty bothersome. Would love to see improvements there.

Overall, this app is fantastic and serves as a good “oh no, everything else broke” communication method. The main improvement I’d like to see is an in-app way to make devices hibernate/sleep/power down, like how Meshtastic does it. Not every node will have a way to do this without the help of an app. Due to this, I’m only having my Heltec v3 with the firmware for now until this issue is managed. Aside from that the app is amazing, and I’m giving it a 5/5

It’s just incredible that this has been made available so quickly. Five stars for that! I’m excited to get started, but I’m having some difficulty. I’ve successfully flashed my Heltec v3 and configured it over Bluetooth it with the web client (mac os, chrome.) I’ve disconnected from the web client, and I cannot connect via Bluetooth with this new app. I’m stuck on “waiting for device to connect”. Maybe I’m missing something?
