ONLY giving 5 stars so it’s seen but really they deserve less than one star. It seriously seems at this point that they’re scamming pple out of their money by giving fake eSIM cards that do not work, after reading all these reviews with pple saying their eSIM didn’t work!! In the process of the ONE live agent they have, who’d I spent hours and hours and hours trying to get to, telling me that she couldn’t issue a new eSIM due to “current system integrations”, me telling her I wanted a refund, and her disconnecting the chat at that point- I’d already gone online and bought a new plan $10 unlimited everything plan with TELLO (whom I’ve had in the past and are phenomenal with the best service ever!) AND activated my eSIM card on my own within 3minutes! Lyca wasted TWO FULL DAYS, was extremely frustrating, and I never even got successfully activated on the plan I paid for, nor have I been refunded! DONT WASTE YOUR ENERGY!!
At first was having issues porting my number as I didn’t understand the instructions since they weren’t clear on the site. I called the customer service number and spoke to a woman who helped me and was very patient. We ported my number and I used the service. I went through my 1gb rather quickly. I wanted to see how easy it was to port my number out as well. I emailed customer service requesting my account number and pin. They did ask why I was leaving and what carrier I was porting to which I didn’t feel was important and really shouldn’t have mattered since it isn’t required with other services like Verizon. I gave them that information with my full name and 2 most frequent numbers I called and within a few days I was emailed back and given my account number as well as pin. Simple to port in and out for me. I would recommend this service and appreciate the customer service I was provided.
They have one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I wanted to just swap my physical sim to an esim and I already paid and I was waiting for an agent for almost 2 hours. Not only that but the agent I was with kept talking over me and not hearing me properly when I was talking. From our conversation I would assume that she was not an english speaker which doesn’t make sense to hire someone that have a hard time speaking english, but beside the point; I then was told to wait 2 hrs before calling them back and confirming that I can actually activate my esim. I then tried to call but there was no service, so I couldn’t call nor use data which honestly made me stressful. I had to email them, chat with the agent that wasn’t really helpful and kept telling me to the same things over and over again. Further, when I’m still asking questions I’m suddenly switched to a robot instead of a live person in chat. Overall, my experience with their customer service was not good, if I could give a no star I would. Thank you!
