Lightpage: AI Journal & Notes

This app was one of the latest and out of many that I have tried as a journaling app. I have found it to be an extremely useful tool, which, for two weeks, has provided me with exceptional retrospective narratives on the events of my week from my mental health standpoint to a personal interest standpoint. Today's weekly note hit especially well and provided me with some much-needed motivation. You get what you put into it. The more honest and raw you are, the more in-depth I've found the retrospective narrative is coming back to you but it has been pretty spot on and has even given me some things to consider and think about. I'm thankful that I found something that I might be able to stick with long term and I hope to continue to see development for the future of this app

Using Lightpage since March of this year has become a daily habit that I can’t see ever wanting to stop. It’s the first app I’ve really used the voice feature with so it really does feel like I’m talking to someone and they write me back. Give me these lovely pieces of art and quotes that I write down every day. The articles are spot on totally relatable to what I’ve been talking about in each journal entry. The developers are super responsive as well. I’ve only ever submitted one email (my daily quote didn’t generate one day) not only did they fix the bug that day, but the CEO emailed me! This app has made such a difference in how I move through my day. I have missed using it a few times while traveling for work and definitely noticed that something feels off about my day. Then I realize that I skipped it or did something else first and didn’t get back to it..that tells me how useful it is to me. So grateful to have found it!

I have tried several journaling apps in the last few weeks. Journaling has been something I’ve always wanted to do and I have the best intentions, and I go find a beautiful journal at the store thinking I’m gonna fill it with all of my thoughts, and it just doesn’t happen. With the emergence of AI it seems like things are a lot easier to do and to put in the writing. This app has made it really easy for me to jot down my thoughts because I can just talk and it does great at transcribing and I love the insights. I love the daily things for me to review they trigger me to think. I pay for therapy every single week and some of the insights that this app has offered have been better than what my therapist has provided. The one small thing I would really love to see from this app to make it perfect for me s for the app to speak Its responses in the chat. I’m a mom of two very young kids that works full-time so I don’t have a ton of time to journal. The best time that I have is when I’m driving to or from daycare when it’s just me in the car and my thoughts. That is the best time for me to get out what’s on my mind. But when I’m driving and I’m wanting to see what insight the chat has to spark more conversation I can’t do that. To have a hands-free option would be phenomenal for me.
