This game is very fun and I have been playing it for about 10 days. Something annoying though is that you don’t get to choose if you get light side or dark side when you’re match making. It’s completely random. This is normally fine but sometimes I get dark side like 5 or more times in a row. This is super annoying because my dark side is seriously lacking which brings me to my next point. The dark side cards are drastically worse than the light side cards. All the dark side cards are mostly high single target damage that moves slow. This is terrible compared to the light side which has many cheap fast units as well as many good support units. In my opinion this makes the light side way better not helped by the fact that you get the light side variant of cards before you get the dark side variant. For example, you can get the Ewok treehouse which spawns Ewoks every few seconds at Hoth, but you have to get all the way to Naboo to get the battle droid factory, which spawns a battles droid every few seconds. Not to mention an Ewok will win 100% of the time to a battle droid. My light side deck is easily 3 times better than my dark side deck, and it’s not helped by the fact that it’s strangely difficult to get any good levels or cards on the dark side. I think you should make it so you get light side, then dark side, and repeat. Also buff the dark side way more to make them more even. It would also be great if there was a dark and light side variant of every card and you could get them both relatively at the same planet. Overall great game, please take this review into account.
This app is amazing! I love the animation, combat style, nostalgia inducing memorandum, f2p to the Nth degree, awards are fair, as well as exceptional gameplay mechanics and matchmaking in most areas. I have two complaints. Big ones. First of all EVENTS are unfair and basically locked to players who have planets and cards unlocked far beyond the reach of the vast majority of players. Winning the matches for sub- year played account is possible if you glitch or if the player has a celebrity guest playing on their account. Basically 1/100 chance to win without the cards. A simple solution to my first problem would be to have events matched based on play time or rank, average level… very simple imo, I understand the PB may be too small for match making to allow such vetting, but there could be some implementations that make the matching somewhat fair. 2nd of all and lastly, the bugs when they come are not fixed or the devs obviously don’t see it important enough to bother with, while the game awards victory so well it tears you down if you’re are defeated in devastating ways, and all glitches, hitches, stitches and bugs that affect any part of the match will result in this account degradation causing rank losses, planetary exile and even further inability to progress in what is already a tenacious tier up process. I generally accept the progression and see it as fair but way the game chooses your fate in malfunctions makes this a terrible algorithm for award/ degrade ratio. Again thanks for the amazing game but the issues make me feel like I wasted a lot of my life traversing the caste system of mt grindngrow when one rouge bug can make u fall to ur demise
This game is probably one of the best phone games ive ever played and i wish i could say its due to some crazy new concept or idea but instead because of how polished and rewarding of an experience it is compared to most phone games, LSW:B is a simple concept similar to clash royale, but what makes it so much better is its strict non micro transaction gameplay, meaning everyone has to earn what they get, no paying to have everything since you cant buy any of the currencies only earn them, its payout and reward system is very generous and crafted for all types of players, whether your the type to play hours every day or maybe only a few matches a week it still gives both a fair chance with how daily logins work, leaderboards, and daily/weekly tournaments work. There is no energy or cost to play matches so you can play freely as much as you want with the only cost being to your mmr, which is another great feature that balances who you generally play against. Another important thing is the meta, unlike most games ive been able to get to near the final world without having to follow a strict meta for my decks, you can simply play totally how you want and sometimes win with the strangest decks because of counters and deck builds you play. I could honestly go on forever about each trivial part of this game and why its done well but we would be here forever, so if you like legos and you like star wars I promise this will be a fun mobile game to you
