I deleted this app the very day I downloaded it after quickly seeing it wasn’t what I thought and I wouldn’t be using it. I didn’t realize even though I deleted the app they were still connected through my apple account where I originally downloaded it. Woke up today and almost 50$ was taking out of my account. I’m a mom of 4 struggling and didn’t have the money to just be taken from us especially for something I was not and have not used whatsoever. It was basically stolen from us is how I feel. I tried to download the app again to get in contact with someone to resolve the issue and ask to be refunded and there is really no way to get through to anyone. I found a email tried to email but haven’t gotten a response. I’m very upset!
Almost every food option was incorrect. I spent an hour comparing different foods to the restaurants nutrition facts, and they were all wrong by a lot. I was disappointed because when I’m out with friends, I panic when they want to go to fast food restaurants and I thought this was going to make it easier, but it was just a giant tease. Everything said it was less calories than what it actually was, and as somebody trying to lose weight, this could have ruined my progress. One “low-calorie item“ was a six pack of cookies. This app said “serving size one pack 120 cal” I looked it up and it’s 120 cal for one cookie. All of the pictures included more items than what was in the description. They were very misleading and made it look like you could get a lot of food for less calories.
I’ve been trying to lose weight for months but always struggled with cravings for fast food. LeanBites completely changed that. It taught me that I don’t have to give up the restaurants I love, I just have to know what to order. Since using LeanBites I’ve stayed consistent with my diet, my cravings are manageable, and for the first time I am actually losing weight without feeling restricted. This app is an absolute game changer!
