I had been browsing the app store looking for something to help me learn Farsi, and I stumbled across this. After trying the two free levels to see if it would work for me I ended up buying it all. I see people complain about the app not being free but honestly it's only $10. If you're truly invested in learning another language then this is not a bad price at all. I wish the app would let you go back to previous lessons again, because even though it will move me forward and continue adding words from previous lessons, I really only know about a third of the words. The ability to go back without starting from scratch would be a marvelous addition! It would also be great if there was a bit more variety in the way it teaches vocab. Like another game or two. I realize that's asking a lot but I just love this so much!
I'm currently taking Korean lessons from a teacher through italki, but I wanted something to keep me motivated outside of those lessons. As an avid gamer and language learner, I'm always looking for fun ways to learn. I'm definitely not a child, but it is still very helpful for building my vocabulary since I am a beginner. Also, I didn't mind having to pay for the additional levels. It's worth it to me!
I had this app for quite some time now and we (my daughter and wife included) absolutely love it. It is useful not only for children but for adults as well. I like ti better than traditional flashcards. Also, the authors are constantly updating it, adding a lot of vocabulary and new languages. And to add icing on top of the cake, they are supper friendly and truly listening to our suggestions.
This app is the perfect tool for toddlers and older children to learn vocabulary in many languages. More than 500 commonly used words including colors...
