Worth every penny

I’ve been on this app about 3 years now. I’m 28, and this is the best shape I’ve been in my life, I’ve tried working out like 8 other times using fitness DVDs and online worksheet, though I found having a trainer has helped get my best results and build consistency: I definitely would have stopped training on about 5 seperate occasions so far if I didn’t. I lost 60 lbs, and right now I’m one of the most in shape people I know now, and my friend’s sister said I went from looking from a 3/10 to a 7.5/10. Even when I was unemployed for 2 months & I was asking my parents to help with rent money, I made sure to keep this app. I liked my trainer so much, that when they started offering free trainers that were covered by insurance, I still kept paying the $100/mo to keep the trainer I liked. I would definitely pay $100/mo to be in the shape I am in today, and I’m planning on keeping it until I die.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If you’re going to struggle to afford this or if it’s not going to be something you’re not planning to stick with, DO NOT SIGN UP. Customer service is awful, they continue to take money from me every month even though I’ve cancelled months ago. I’m in a tough spot financially as a single mother and I also have health issues that I’m dealing with. I knew signing up for this would seriously be stretching my wallet but I wanted to take the initiative of helping myself for my family. The app and everything seemed great, the training portion is great as well, but if you have to cancel your account you really can’t. They just continue to charge you every month. Maybe it would have been different if I kept the payment through Apple, instead of listening to them to switch over to their payment platform (where they double charged me). Now I have to tell them every month to give me a refund because they don’t stop charging me even though I already canceled my account directly with them. Unfortunately I have to now call my bank to stop the payments to them which is just unnecessary, because all they needed to do was handle this properly. But they’re too concerned about taking people’s money at this point.

Easiest way to train

I’ve used many different fitness methods in my life and the best thing for has been personal training with an actual trainer who gets to know my needs and can personalize my routine for me, but that was the most expensive way of doing things. This app and company do the same exact level of personalization AND trainer interaction you’d expect from an in-person trainer because they have actual trainers that get to know you and keep in contact with you and bug you to do your workouts for the week (and honestly that’s what I’m paying for, someone to positively nag me to do my workouts). It’s remote training, but the app itself is built to be super informative and useful for when you’re actually in the gym using the weights and machines. Don’t bother with one of the cheap ai apps that feel generic and impersonal. This is the best way to train if you have goals you want to reach and don’t have the ability to shell out $$$$ every month for an in-person trainer.
