I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this app/program. Well worth the money in my opinion. The dude at my gym who squats like 600lbs recommended this app and I ended up loving it. I’m an intermediate level lifter and have been lifting for a while. I have decent strength and size but have had a hard time breaking past certain numbers on my lift, and partly bc I never really followed a structured program and partly bc I’m a firefighter with a weird sleep schedule as well as many intense/physically demanding hobbies like wrestling/judo/BJJ and there aren’t really programs that cater to my unique situation. But this app/program is different. Love that it’s very customized to me and my needs, my level of recovery, how my body is feeling, and my feedback. It’s like having the most knowledgeable coach ever who knows my situation and is working to give me the best program. And not to mention, it is a FRACTION of the cost of hiring a legit coach who would probably still struggle to create such an in depth and extremely adaptable program catered to me. If you’re on the fence, just do it. A powerlifting coach can cost you hundreds a month and won’t give you this level of personalization. This is well worth the $35 a month.
I truly cannot say enough good about this app! I have been using the app for almost three years. In that time, I did my first meet, was pregnant, did a garage gym competition four months postpartum, and am now looking to do another meet. The app was great for preparing for my first powerlifting meet. It allowed me to feel confident the day of the meet and I hit PRs. During pregnancy, I used power building and maintained a lot of strength and muscle mass. At four months postpartum, I did the garage gym competition after having done a powerlifting program in the app and was right back at my pre pregnancy DOTS. Now six month post pregnancy I am stronger than ever using the app and hitting all time PRs already! I can credit this to the app adapting based on the check ins. Even if I didn’t sleep well the night before the app adapts and allows me to have a productive training session. I love how I don’t have to think about my workout or warmup since Juggernaut tells me exactly what I need to do. Also, I love how the app is great for training at home. I exclusively train in my basement gym. I also appreciate how Juggernaut has maintained their prices and hasn’t increased like other apps. Additionally, I have messaged Chad with questions a few times on instagram and he had replied which I think is very kind and helpful! I love the Juggernaut AI app! Only thing I would change is using this program sooner!
I’m 16 training sessions in and loving it. Starting with the interface, it is modern and user friendly..what else do you need? The app asks you before each training session, your weight, have you eaten/rested well, do you feel sore in any areas etc. Now I’ve never had a coach but I can already assume this is what it’s like to have a coach training you. I am still in the Hypertrophy phase, with 1 week left until the Strength portion starts and my squat and deadlift have skyrocketed! I love the different techniques that attack a lift’s weakness. Also it’s not STRICTLY powerlifting which is what I thought I wanted but it also includes some accessory work that help those lifts and it seems necessary. This app still gets 5 stars from me, but the one and only thing I did not like was the fact that my bench (which surprisingly is my favorite compound moment) has suffered GREATLY. I know this is the Hypertrophy phase still with 1 week left until Strength starts but my squat and dead lift have gone up significantly...not my bench. I’m fact I’m hitting a top single with proper competition form 10lbs less than what I was at before. That may not seem like a lot but given my other lifts have gone up 25/35 lbs +, I would’ve liked my bench to also go up. Every session has my lifting really really really light, it is very annoying. I get lighter weight for getting form done and concentrating, but every session is hardly even warm up weight. Very long review, but I will also update when further in!
