A fantastic strength app that provides appropriate exercises for whatever sport you are training for. Although I have coached for years I am still learning new queues and progression techniques for myself and my athletes. There are suggested rest timers and scaling options. In addition, as an active duty service member I use this app (combat sports training) for myself and my Soldiers. I have bought the powerlastic bands after my Rogue bands broke, and the powerlastic are much worth the investment along with the program that comes with (and technique stick as well as I got that package -that’s what she said). Take time to listen to their podcast (Masters of Sport). A lot of great advice and funny quips as Earl constantly triggers Dane. The app only crashed on me about 3 times, but expected with new apps and still awesome nonetheless. Get this app, it’s worth it if you apply yourself. At 37 years old, I am stronger than I ever been thanks to this app. It gets results.

I’m a 38 year old aging former wrestler and BJJ competitor. I’ve trained with some really high level strength and conditioning coaches along the way. I would stack this app against any other app you’re going to find on the market and feel confident you’re going to get stronger and better as an athlete. This makes things so much easier. Just show up and out in the work. Everything else is done for you. My only two notes are: 1. I would like a few more dynamic movements. But there are options to trade one movement for the next. Just not a lot of dynamic sport specific movements. 2. The app seams to crash a lot. However, it does allow you to open it right back up and resume the workout exactly where you were. So not a huge deal. Overall I’m very happy so far. My entire BJJ school has made comments about my physique and strength gains so far. I’ll be getting them onboard once I’ve had a good head start 😉

This app is amazing. If you’re trying to get fit, it will ramp you up slowly so that you stick with the program. If you’re training for something sport-specific, you can adjust your program to reflect that. I did the ski season to prep for winter skiing (recreational) and have noticed such a difference this year in how comfortable I am on the slopes. I switched to the weight loss program and am seeing a change in my body composition. The programming utilizes progressive overload and is varied enough to stay interesting. There are videos for people unfamiliar with movements and it is easy to make substitutions if you don’t have access to equipment. I have a background in Olympic Weightlifting, so a solid understanding of good programming, and I can’t imagine there is a better app than this one out there. Highly recommend to both beginners and to athletes.
