This app is great for gym! Takes away a lot of guess when just getting started and even if regular gym goer. Very easy to use and developer did a great job with making everything simple to understand and has links to anything and everything you could ask when comes to powerlifting, weight tracking, etc! Def worth the download and have it on my main screen for easy access and immediate logging of routines and PR achievements!!
I use this app a lot and have for a couple years now. it’s typically great, however over the past year or so myself and many others have run into a 5kg glitch in the “reverse” section where it says the weight on the bar is 5kg lower than what it actually is (i.e. red red yellow on the bar is actually 150kg/331lb but the app is saying it’s 145kg/319lb). no, there was not a setting changed to a different barbell weight or added comp collars or anything, the app randomly glitches and shows the incorrect numerical value for the given kg plates. I still use the app, and it is great 95% of the time, just make sure you always double check, especially if it’s a weight range you’re unfamiliar with.
I originally started using this app after converting to kg from lb plates. It was good for not only helping me know how the bar should look, but also a comparison to the lb conversion that I was more used to. I used it for a while before digging into the other tabs. I like to work up to a daily training max and then do down sets for additional volume. Here is where I found the app incredibly useful. Depending what intensity I want to work at for the day, I can easily calculate the drop I weight for the intensity level. Do 5 sets of 5 with a starting RPE of 7 or 3 sets of 5 starting at RPE 8. Even .5 increments can be entered. The only thing I can thing of is keeping multiple bars in the inventory for switching between from 25kg squat bars, 30kg SSB to 20kg power bars. For now I just manually change the bar weight but find myself googling for the SSB weight since I have long times of not using it. Great job on the app O O O 3 whites!
