iD Mobile - Mobile done right!

Not many people know this but, ID is apparently the sister company of 3. But, the stark difference between ID and 3, is that not only is ID 3x more affordable than 3, they’re also more generous and reliable. I’ve been with them for 4 years, and have always been satisfied with both their service and product. My only caveat with them is, I wish they offered e-sims and more affordable international roaming prices to their customers. If they did that, I, and likely other id customers wouldn’t need to use other companies for their e-sims when travelling abroad. Huge misstep on their part which I hope they rectify soon. Otherwise, they’re actually pretty fantastic and I recommend them, every time mobile providers come up in a conversation.

I’ve had no problems with the app until a couple of days ago when I was forced to update (which I do not like, I should be able to choose weather I want to update an app or not.) I had an issue with my recently upgraded contract, so while trying to sort it I thought I’d have the app open for any information I might need. Couldn’t open it without updating, updated it, it wouldn’t kick in and still isn’t. Very annoying and inconvenient. And yes I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it. Please address the situation. Thanks. UPDATE.. A week later, system maintenance by id on app and website, 2 chat exchanges with id annnnnd no change whatsoever still can’t open and use app. 😩😡😡😡😡. UPDATE 2… The information given in the response by Beth partially works as in turning show boarders off completely allows the app to open and function as normal. The per app option didn’t work for me unfortunately. And although I really like the show boarders effect, I would rather be able to use the id app. So until there is a fix , it is what it is.
