But really, why does the watercolor look like oil paint? There are no wet edges, little transparency, and absolutely worst of all, globs of paint! Watercolor does not glob... ever; it pools, and that is a significant part of its beauty. A big part of this problem is the shine you add that doesn’t belong in watercolor at all. These problems completely ruin the effect and the result bears no similarity to the real thing. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t realism the point of the app? The app also needs an intensity setting for the canvas, inclusion of cold press paper, and a full screen preview with zoom so I don’t have to save after every significant change just to see what I’m doing. Though none of the current extras entice me to upgrade, if these issues are successfully fixed I will gladly buy it and up your rating to support a responsive developer. All that being said, the color controls are awesome and I really like the variation adjustment. Keep working, you’re on the way to greatness.

As far as I know there is no other app out there that does anything like this. The results look amazing and can really “smooth out” a video to give it a very professional look and feel. I can’t believe it’s not more popular. I would buy a desktop version of this. The only complaint I have is how long it takes to complete even a small amount of video. The wait is worth it and it’s even kind of entertaining to watch it create each frame of the video in a way.

I’m hoping that either a purchase will get rid of the ads or that there is a option to remove them. Edited: after experimenting with this app more I’ve become very impressed with it. I’m using it to create storyboards for a project and it helps me to bridge the gap between photos and sketches. It is quite versatile and offers a lot of creative possibilities. What I would really love at this point is an explanation of how to use the built it settings - I’m not quite sure what many of them do - and it would be great if I could contact the maker of this app - the website seems to have been down for quite sometime. If there are any plans to make a Mac based program for a laptop, I’d definitely be interested in trying it out.
