I think this is a phenomenal idea and is implemented wonderfully, I only wish there was a way to record previous sobriety, i just downloaded today but I have almost 2 years and would like if the app reflected that. Amending because the creator quickly got back to me to show me that the app already has this feature. Huge props to a solo dev out here doing more work than entire organizations of people. You rock man keep it up.
I was having a problem with multiple different substances and vices for years. I'd occasionally having a couple months kinda clean from just white knuckling. I found this app randomly on instagram & instantly downloaded it. It helped immensely for the first two weeks then I started going to NA to continue to support my recovery. I'm currently living in sober living (which I love!), have an amazing group of sober friends and almost at 5 months clean. I just got a second drynosaur in the game that I'm specifically going to use for my adult entertainment addiction that I want to kick. I never leave reviews for anything, but this app was the catalyst that changed my life immensely. The differences are day and night!! I can't recommend this enough & I tell all my friends wanting to get sober about this app:) Thank you, Gareth!!
- What do you like? Really not all that sure what I like about it. It seemed a lot cooler or interactive than it actually is. Especially for the cost for even a year. There are 100's of sobriety clocks, timers, calendars and calculators out there that are free and have ALOT more substance to them I'm very dissatisfied and sure do feel like I not only wasted money, but that whomever is leaving such positive reviews have done the same. - What could be better? Pretty much everything. Maybe AA or recovery tools and or info. Motivational content. AlANYTHING REALLY. All this does is say how many days you "check in" and didn't drink the previous day or since last checked in. Such a waste. - Any feature ideas? Don't charge for an app that is beyond basic. Maybe be free or suggest people go to better sobriety apps? There are some really great feee ones out there both AA and non AA related I hope this review finds you BEFORE downloading. It will force you to buy not even a trial period. It's a huge waste of money. It's got 3 basic games that any old Nokia phone had. And 3 "mindfulness" activities that are as basic as they come. Save your time and money there are much better FREE apps out there to support you in sobriety!!!!
Take a break from drinking and watch your Drynosaur evolve alongside you. At its heart is a simple truth: the most meaningful transformations happen...
